HOW IT WORKS
You share what you know. We do the rest.
STEP 1
The questionnaire. You answer what you know. We build the biography.
The questionnaire takes 30–60 minutes. It covers five areas: identity, relationships, childhood, adult life and character, and work and contributions. Save your progress and return at any time. You do not need to know everything. Answer what you can. We work with what you give us. Once submitted, you receive a draft biography within 48 hours.
STEP 2
The biography. Grounded in your family's specific world.
Every biography is specific to this person. The village they came from. The generation they belonged to. The occupation they carried out for their whole life. The character the family remembers. We draw on over 1,000 books, academic sources and community records covering Greek life, migration and memory – wherever it was lived. The historical world behind this person's life is already understood. What we need from you is the personal detail. We provide everything else. Never generic. Never assumed. Always earned.
STEP 3
You review and approve before anything is printed or published.
We have sent you the draft biography. You read it. You tell us what to change — a detail that is wrong, a memory we missed, or a tone that does not feel right. We refine it. Nothing is printed, and no website goes live until you have approved the final version. Families who want to go deeper can add a 60-minute guided interview. Available as an optional add-on for any order.
STEP 4
We produce the memorial
Once approved, we produce everything in your order: the printed booklet (10 copies, A6 format), the memorial website, and the ceramic QR tile for the grave. Premium orders also include a children's version of the biography — 1 printed A6 copy plus a downloadable family PDF — so every child in the family has a way to know the person they lost. Or never got to meet. Read by young readers, or read out by family members. Something they will return to.
STEP 5
The memorial is yours, permanently
The memorial website remains online for 35 years. No subscription. No renewal. No expiry. Private, visible only to family, or shared more widely — you decide. The URL and QR code connect anyone who holds the booklet directly to the full biography online. Family and friends can leave tributes at every stage of remembrance: the 9-day, the 40-day, and the annual mnimosino. The memorial does not expire. Neither does the memory.
